Responsibilities of Auto Systems Technician:
Tasked with the responsibility of inspecting, diagnosing, and carrying out advanced vehicle maintenance and repair work, including emissions testing where required, overseeing vehicle movements and inventory, documenting repairs, and using computer software.
- Carry out inspections, upkeep, and repairs on diverse DriveTime inventory vehicles.
- Keep management informed about automotive repair concerns and solutions to limit the need for additional work and avoid interruptions in production.
- Comprehensive logging of all operations executed in digital systems.
- The top priority for ensuring safety and meeting regulatory requirements is to consistently keep the area neat and well-arranged
Requirements of Auto Systems Technician:
- Must be proficient in automotive repairs.
- Must be able to trouble shoot basic automotive concerns.
- Must be able to communicate the causes and recommended corrections for vehicle issue.
- Must be able to meet metric performance targets.
- Must be able to learn and operate basic computer systems.
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Must maintain a safe and compliant work space.
- Must be able to learn and comply with all DriveTime standards.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology or work experience equivalent (3 years or more) in automotive repair.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- It is essential to wear safety gear like face shields, goggles, gloves, masks, non-slip shoes, and other protective equipment as needed.
- Entails frequent navigation behind the wheel and regular use of the keyboard.
- Adherence to a set schedule of attendance is required.
