Job Summary of Transportation Driver:

A Transportation Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated region, typically within a single city or nearby areas. Unlike long-haul drivers, they return home daily and operate within a set delivery route.

Requirements of Transportation Driver:

• Transportation Driver are required to possess a legitimate Class A CDL
• One year of experience driving a tractor-trailer is mandatory for individuals applying for the role of a Transportation Driver
• Having a clean driving record is a must for CDL drivers
• Drivers with a commercial driver's license must secure additional endorsements to transport hazardous materials and liquids in tankers
• CDL drivers must either already hold a TWIC certification or be ready to pursue acquiring one
