Responsibilities of Automotive Mechanic:
Responsible for carrying out thorough inspections, diagnosing issues, and conducting complex vehicle repairs and upkeep tasks, as well as conducting emissions tests (where necessary), managing vehicle movement and inventory, documenting repairs, and utilizing computer systems.
- Conduct examinations, upkeep, and servicing on a variety of DriveTime vehicle stock to ensure optimal condition.
- Communicate with management about automotive repair processes and problems in order to reduce repetitive tasks and prevent production setbacks.
- Accurate record-keeping of all activities conducted within digital technology systems.
- To uphold optimal safety and adherence to regulations, it is crucial to ensure that the space remains orderly and free from clutter
Requirements of Automotive Mechanic:

- The position involves prolonged standing along with frequent stretching, walking, reaching, and bending, as well as pushing and pulling objects, in an environment that could be cold, hot, noisy, or wet and may contain vehicle maintenance-related fumes or odors.
- Demonstrates a need for sharp eyesight and precise hand coordination.
- Safety gear such as face shields, goggles, gloves, masks, non-slip shoes, and other protective attire may be necessary for use.
- Driving regularly and engaging in frequent keyboard use is necessary.
